Imminence
Są gwiazdami metalcore’a, ale ich artystyczne ambicje i wyobraźnia wykraczają daleko poza granice gatunku. Czarują wielkimi melodiami, wokalista Eddie Berg dorzuca partie skrzypiec, a całość spinają elektroniczno-alternatywne wpływy. Imminence to kopalnia talentu.
Historia:
Imminence powstało w szwedzkim Trelleborgu w 2009 roku. Już w 2010 wydali pierwszą EP-kę, a dwie następne, czyli „Born of Sirius” i „Return to Helios” odpowiednio: dwa i trzy lata później. W 2014 nie zwolnili i przygrzmocili debiutem, łączącym melodyjne wątki metalcore’a i post-hardcore’ową emocjonalność. Z każdym materiałem docierali coraz dalej, a metalcore’owy świat rozbili wydaną w 2019 roku płytą „Turn the Light On”. Wtedy zaczęli grać dla coraz większej publiczności i poszerzać swój styl o wątki alternatywne czy rockowe. W 2020 wydali akustyczne wersje piosenek z „Turn the Light on”, a w kolejnych latach doszły do tego dwie kolejne premierowe płyty oraz „The Reclamation of I” – nagrany na nowo debiutancki album grupy.
